How Children Learn
How Children Learn Today
Children learn mostly when they are motivated. They learn best when they are not pressured to study in a way they do not find interesting. Come to think of it, every child is born with a potential. Without even knowing that he/she has the potential, the child can catch on gradually as he/she grows. After all, every child is born with an average human brain that provides the necessary mechanisms for learning new things while growing up. Here is a few great tools that can get your children to become interested in learning.
One of my favorite is Leapfrog Explorer Learning System. It was a truly a blessing for me. I first got it for my daughter last Christmas, she loved it almost immediately. What’s really great about this is that it allows your kids to learn interactively learn math while having fun. Even though I don’t know all the in-n-outs about this, but what I do know is how much my daughter plays with it.
If you have children that’s a little older, I’d suggest LeapFrog LeapPad2 Explorer. It is a tablet for kids essentially. The LeadPad2 comes with 5 apps installed. What I am especially a big big fan of is the tablet has the ability to leveled the reading experiences to help each child grow his or her reading skills at their own pace. If your child is creative or artistic, this one is a no brainer. Your child will play with the new creative app all the time. It’s quite impressive when you think about, it allows your kid to choose the background, characters or props. In addition, he or she can easily add movement and action, and even a dialog.
A child’s learning starts at home which are guided by the parents and in time things like reading and writing can be well taught during school, preschool even. And of course the teacher needs to do much to prepare and use methods by which sensation can be stimulated and direction to the child’s mind, since staring or pre-school is a hard step because the child is in a stage of learning things. And the teacher needs to make the information meaningful and so powerful to take sensations and make them into mental products themselves which it is called percepts or perception. And the meaning of percepts is a mental impression of something perceived by the senses and it is viewed as the basic component in the formation of concepts, percepts is like built in to us, it’s more like an instinct that we need to learn and discover in time.
And of course babies are born to learn. And a lot says that babies start doing before they emerge from the womb, they can learn, by absorbing all sounds, motions, and even also emotions into their rapidly growing nervous systems. Babies are born knowing, babies can discriminate between various smells and tastes, with nit reacting to the voices that they have been hearing during the months inside their mothers womb. And of course their everyday life is always a new term in learning and absorbing, and things are thought to improve this process as they grow. Like example, music, colors, shapes, toys and specially conversation, a communication for each other. And the most important thing it should always have love in the picture, in order for them to grow.
